Hebrews 2:1-4


I. Don't drift away from the message of Christ.
-much closer = perissoteros = more earnestly, all the more
-pay attention = prosecho = give heed, give attention to

II. Ignoring the message of Christ will end with severest punishment.
-"If the law mediated by angels severely punished the disobedient, how much greater is the punishment for those who neglect/ignore the message mediated and proclaimed by the Son who is greater than the angels."

III. The message of Christ was validated by the work of God.
a. It was spoken through the Son.
-Mark 1:15
b. It was confirmed by the eyewitnesses

c. It was endorsed by the power of God.

-Deut. 4:34, 6:22
